[Josie Nelson performed at Carlos Creek Winery on Sunday. The winery doesn’t usually have Sunday performances, but it was quarterly wine pick up day. Thousands of people would be descending on the facility so it’s appropriate they be entertained.]
[Josie began by noting this was her first performance since the Grape Stomp, way back in September. As someone who is now 15 1/2 and 2 days old, she has to spend most of her time as a sophomore in high school. However, she is now less than six months from the driver’s license that will free her mom from chauffeur duties – for which they are both thankful! 😉 ]
[Coach Kohler dropped by during the performance, the night after her 500th career win as the girls’ basketball coach, and we chatted about how multi-talented this sophomore class is. And they’re all smart enough to know one shouldn’t end a sentence with “is.”]
“Don’t Know Why” (Don’t Know Why the camera focused on the background lamp?):
[See you all again in the spring! And a special thanks to the old hockey players and their certainly significant others for stopping by from Ashby and Aberdeen.]
